An active internet connection is required to access the digital information. The dog tag does not require a battery and is not a GPS tracker. User guide and help
You can open the complete online user guide directly in the DynaTag WebApp. It includes help with activation, setting up the digital dog ID and managing the stored information.
Design the engraving, activate the dog tag and set up the digital dog ID.
1. Design the laser engraving
Enter up to four short lines and carefully check the engraving text before completing your order.
2. Activate the dog tag
Scan the QR code, open the WebApp and link the dog tag to your user account.
3. Set up the dog profile
Add contact details, dog information, health information and important notes.
4. Attach it to the collar
Securely attach the dog tag to the collar using a suitable fastening ring.

Attach the dog tag to the collar using a suitable ring. The QR code and laser engraving should remain clearly visible and easily accessible.

Clean the aluminium dog tag carefully with lukewarm water, mild soap and a soft cloth when required. Protect the QR code and laser engraving from scratches and heavy abrasion.

If the dog tag is lost or its QR code becomes unreadable, a new DynaTag product can be linked to the existing digital dog ID. Your stored information does not need to be entered again.
Personalised laser engraving must be designed again when ordering a new dog tag.

What is the aluminium dog tag with QR code and laser engraving?
The bone-shaped dog tag is made from lightweight anodised aluminium and combines personalised laser engraving with an individual QR code.

How secure is my information in the WebApp?
The information is stored on protected servers in Switzerland. You manage it through your personal DynaTag user account and decide which details are visible after a QR scan.
What happens when someone scans the QR code?
The personal dog ID opens directly in the smartphone browser. The finder needs neither an app nor a user account and can view the shared information and contact the stored contact persons.
A location is shared only when the finder actively uses this function and gives their explicit consent.
Can I change the digital information and laser engraving?
Contact details, dog and health information and other notes can be updated at any time through your DynaTag user account using a smartphone, tablet or computer.
The laser engraving is permanent and cannot be changed after production. Carefully check the engraving text before completing your order.
Are there any subscription fees or monthly charges?
No. The purchase includes use of the digital dog ID for five years with no subscription or monthly charges. After this period, the usage period can be extended for another one-time fee.
Can I track the location of my missing dog?
No. The SOS dog tag is not a GPS tracker and cannot actively or continuously locate the dog. It contains neither GPS nor a battery.
After a QR scan, the finder can voluntarily share the location of their own smartphone. This happens only with their explicit consent.
